SkyGolf SG2.5 Lite The SkyGolf SG2.5 Lite is a slimmed-down version of the SkyCaddie SG2.5, providing distances to the front, center, and back of the green. It also displays the shape of the green from a fairway approach. Use the Mark Ball feature to know the distance you hit every club. The SG2.5 Lite can be upgraded to a full-featured course management system, with distances for up to 40 fairway targets per hole and SkyGolf’s patented IntelliGreen technology. There is an annual subscription fee of $29.95-$59.95, which is required for use of the SkyCaddie SG2.5 Lite.

Superior protection at a very reasonable price is our hardcover case. These were custom designed by a GPS fanatic. The interior is fitted with elastic straps to keep your GPS in place. The other side has a pouch for stowing other stuff like a power cable, SD cards or MountGuys business cards (a little self marketing). The interior is lined in soft material.

You can stow your GPS with the rear button on or off. I personally leave mine on and store it with the front facing on the felt lining for the best protection but you can store the other way too.

Q: Can the SG2.5 give me the distance to the pin?
A: The SkyCaddie, using the IntelliGreen graphics found on our professionally recorded SkyCourses, provides more information than just the distance to the pin. Once the line of play is selected on the graphical green outline, it provides the minimum carry to get on the green, the maximum limit you have to the back of the green, plus you can adjust to obtain the third distance of the approximate flag location. All three distances are provided simultaneously from any direction as you approach the green. You can then frame your shot in a much larger target area and select the best club. You will hit more greens and have shorter putts than a single number can provide.
